Wudang Taiji Quan and Bai Long Quan Kungfu - Thursdays 7:30-9am

Shuang Long Dao/Two Dragons Path offers instruction in Wudang Taiji Quan and Bai Long Quan Kungfu. Taiji & Kungfu training is a wonderful way to strengthen and develop both mind and body, as well as being superb cross training for all sports. Regular practice helps to build and maintain strength and power to the legs, upper body, and core. Instruction is given in a style that is designed to be exciting, challenging and thorough while being extremely inclusive and tailored to accommodate a wide range of ages and physical ability. Classes are open to all ages 16 years and older. Beginners and experienced students are equally welcome. Private instruction is also offered.

Kodokan Boston Karate - Wednesdays 8-10pm

Kodokan Boston is a non-profit organization dedicated to training the Okinawan martial arts of Goju Ryu Karate Do and Matayoshi Kobudo. Our training consists primarily of stretching, calisthenics, basic techniques, kata (form) practice, and paired practice working with the techniques embodied in the kata (kata bunkai kumite).

We do not participate in tournaments or other competitive events, and in general we do not spar. Our training environment is non-competitive, with each member working not only to improve him or herself, but to help the other members improve as well.

Pilates Mat Wednesdays 7-7:45pm


Description: By working the “Powerhouse” or core muscles (the abdominal and back muscles in the center of your body) you will improve strength and posture and develop a long, lean line. As you begin to focus on your body as a whole, you’ll achieve better alignment and teach your body to work more efficiently. This class is for beginners new to the Pilates method, as well as those who are more experienced. Participants of all ages and different fitness levels are welcome. Please bring a mat. You may also want a towel & water bottle.

Instructor: Liz Kelley Boksanski brings decades of athletic experience into our Beginner/Intermediate Pilates class. A former High School All American Soccer Player
& National Champion, Liz went on to to mix-up her fitness routine by cross-training,
and incorporating lower impact exercises. Liz found that the Mat Pilates fitness method helped her focus on integrating her entire body to strengthen & tone her core - without the high-impact stress that other activities put on her body. Liz was certified by one of the most respected national schools of Pilates instruction and is committed to teaching with fresh and innovative techniques while honoring the integrity of the methods of classical Pilates. Liz lives in Arlington with her husband Steve, and 16 month old son Ted.

Sessions and Fees: This class is every Wednesday from 7-7:45pm. There is no pre-registration required. The drop in class fee is $13 at the door and $109 for a 10 class card. Payment accepted in the form of cash or checks only.

Vinyasa Yoga-A Basics Class


Vinyasa means "flow”: Simple yet challenging postures assembled in a creative way to raise heat, increase strength and flexibility and focus and calm the body and mind. This class is appropriate for both beginning and advanced students.

A Somerville resident, social worker and mom to 2 year old Evie, has been teaching yoga for three years at O2 Yoga in Somerville. This class de-mystifies yoga for newcomers and provides a thorough understanding of breath, correct alignment and the anatomy of yoga postures. Intermediate and advanced practioners will be challenged by her creative sequencing. Join us to develop or deepen your own yoga practice!

This meet up is designed to give drummers and people who want to dance the opportunity to express themselves with other drummers and dancers in a social and fun setting. The dancers will be utilizing our 600 sqft sprung wood dance floor while the drummers form a semi-circle around the perimeter.

Women's Boxing Workout at Together in Motion


This meet up group is designed to give women of all different boxing backgrounds the opportunity to come in and get a great workout together. We have created multiple stations for heavy bag punching, light bag striking, jumping rope, sit-ups, push-ups, medicine balls, large gymnastic balls, and body bar exercise, focus mitt striking, and stretching.
